David Cohen, Steve Bannon and Jeff Sessions are on the list of those who have already received harsh public criticism from the American president.
he split between US President Donald Trump and David Cohen, his adviser and lawyer for years , was the latest case in a series of disputes between the billionaire and some of his closest collaborators.
On paper, Michael Cohen’s post sounded perfect: “President Donald J. Trump’s personal lawyer.”
But over the course of twenty years, his role went much further and included a list of services: spokesperson, animator, pawn, cover-up and sometimes lawyer.
No one could talk about Trump or endorse him as much as Cohen, who went so far as to say that the president was to him less a boss than a “patriarch” or a “mentor.”
The relationship began to suffer weariness when Cohen did not receive a government position, and collapsed completely when Trump maintained a resounding silence in the face of the legal difficulties his lawyer began to face.
Cohen had defended Trump numerous times, but it was clear that the president would not return the favors.
Then suddenly recordings of private conversations leaked and the tweets began to multiply.
“It seems to me that someone is trying to make up stories to get out of the swamp (cab, maybe?),” The president wrote on Twitter, referring to Cohen’s taxi lines that are now under investigation.
In addition to Trump himself, there may not be anyone else who has done so much to be elected President as Steve Bannon, who has managed to form a coalition between members of the far right and the Republican party to bring him to power.
In the White House, Bannon was the chief strategist of the president and the most important of his assistants.
Although he was blamed for the internal problems and leaks that affected the early days of the Trump administration , he was able to leave the White House relatively well.
But his appearance in journalist Michael Wolff’s “Fire and Fury” unleashed Trump’s fury.
The president called him “careless Steve,” apparently because of his casual dress, and said the man “started crying and begged for his job” when he was fired.
Since then, both have reconciled.
The support of then-Senator Jeff Sessions to Trump for the nomination of the Republican party in early 2016 gave this candidacy some legitimacy and increased its chances in the conservative southern region of the country.
The two toured the country on campaign and exchanged several accolades. Trump even offered his support to become attorney general.
But when Sessions said he would step down if Trump dismissed Prosecutor Rodgers number two , Rosenstein, in the framework of the collusion investigation between Russia and Trump’s campaign team, the latter burst out, stating that he should never have put Sessions in that because she was “VERY weak” for not investigating Hillary Clinton.
But so far he has not fired him.
Trump’s first marriage with Ivana Zelnickova did not end well.
The marriage was affected by Trump’s love affair with Marla Maples, who would become his second wife and whose novel was divulged in detail.
“The Disaster of the Billions,” as it called a tabloid, ended with property lawsuits, stories leaking about child neglect, Maples’ claims about how good sex was to Trump, and rumors that Trump disagreed with breast implants Ivana put it on.
Ivana says she still talks to Trump twice a week and is her “secret counselor.”
